So Fresh and So Clean

Doesn't Joaquin look so cute and sweet when he gets out of the shower?!?

You Pick Two, I Pick Two

Joaquin and I have snuggle time every night where we read books and feel hair and get cozy. He picks two, I pick two, plus one in Spanish. It's pretty much the best part of the day. :)

Mr. Jig Saw

Joaquin is obsessed with puzzles. The first thing he wants to do when he wakes up is build his T-Rex puzzle. Then he wants to break it up and do it again. And again. And again. Then he wants to do his Lighting McQueen puzzle, over and over. Then his Solar System puzzles, at least 15 times. Then it's back to the T-Rex...another hundred billion times. ;)

You Can Bring a Horse to Water...

Every morning, Joaquin helps me feed Izzie and Anabel. He's gets the cat food, and carefully scoops it into the dish, while I get the water. Afterwards he puts the container back in the closet and then heads off to his room to play while I cook breakfast. And every morning, when I go to get him, I usually find something "eating" the cat's food. Firetrucks, vacuum attachments, my underwear....This morning it was his collection of dinosaurs and horses. Anabel avoids Joaquin and Joaquin paraphernalia like the plague, but Izzie takes it all in stride.

The Bare Escentuals

If Joaquin hears the snap and creak of my make-up box opening, it's all over. He's in the bathroom like Izzie on Anabel. Snap! ;) Here he is putting his face on. The only thing he forgot was the purple eyeshadow he likes to rub on his cheeks.

The Big Bounce

Joaquin finally learned how to jump (who knew it didn't come naturally??) and now he's a jumping freak. The only time he wants to stop bouncing is when he needs more Vitamin Water. :)

Ferris Wheels and Funnel Cakes

It's fair time again! Deep fried pickles, fresh squeezed lemonade, apple funnel cakes...mmm. This year Joaquin was tall enough to ride almost all of the rides by himself. Except I was too scared to let him, so I rode with him. He really wanted to go on the Crazy Mouse but that will have to wait a few years. ;)

Yellow Daisy Festival

We love fall festivals!! We've been to about a hundred so far, but the best one was the Yellow Daisy Festival in Stone Mountain. Art, food, and free samples (yay!). Joaquin was all over his balloon T-Rex until his legs fell off. Then he was all about the Kettle Korn and free pomegranate Kefir. Yum!

Zoo Atlanta

They did have real zoo animals at Zoo Atlanta, but for some reason we only took pics at the kiddie zoo, which was really just a bunch of goats and goat turds. It was sweet. We went to help celebrate Mei Lei's 2nd birthday. We ate big panda cookies, and gave a dude in a panda costume a high five. Joaquin had the most fun at the playground. Big surprise there! ;)

Back at the BoTan

We love the Botanical Gardens. I wish we lived closer so we could go everyday!!

Happy Meals on Wheels

There was a very interesting car parked outside of our apartment this afternoon. I think it had Happy Meal toys all over it...plus a bunch of random junk. :) I told Joaquin not to touch it, but there was so much cool stuff on it! Longnecks, alligators, Sponge Bobs, Nemios...he really couldn't keep his hands off it it.

Fernbank

Joaquin and I went to the Dino Museum today!! It was super fun. Joaquin loved the T-Rex and walking through all of the different regions of Georgia. We had a yummy lunch at the Dino Cafe and of course, bought waay too much at the Dino Store. Yay!

Goggle Head

I'm not really sure if Joaquin goes underwater with these, but her really likes to wear them!

Eeee!

This is pretty much Joaquin and Izzie's favorite game: playing in the clean sheets while I'm trying to make the bed. Joaquin is the monster and Izzie is the naughty kitty. ;)

Meet Joaquin

Joaquin got to meet some of Mama's best friends from high school today! And Joaquin got to meet Maddie, too, but we forgot to take pictures!! Next time. :)

Ridin' Dirty

We got this trike at TJ Maxx for 10 bucks. We thought it was a pretty good deal, until we got it home and opened the box. Let's just say it was a good thing Joaquin was sleeping while Ma and I put it together. Good times!
